Prepare to go Clown College:

Killer Clowns in College are well equipped. If character has DX equal or higher than 23, you can attack them first, which gives you a huge advantage. I suggest at least 3 members in party shall reach DX = 23 before go to Clown College. A NPC with CLIMB skill is benefical to get into Kermit's Mansion. You don't need to bring Rubber Boots if you have LV 3 CLIMB skill.

The corner tower of College will fire shells to you when you try to get in. The damage is random, so you can try save-load. CON around 50~60 seems to be enough. One or two of your party members shall be able to heal CRT(critical) condition. That means at least LV7 MEDIC skill is needed and that's why Imelda is a good companion. It's also worthy to let all your party members to learn MEDIC skill. You can collect money from Ohoh Cultists, so it should be not a big problem. If any member is mutated, go HOME and ask Doc DeMedici to heal it. (This should be the first time you go back HOME) Prepare automatic weapons (MAC10 or assault rifle) and few bottles of Desoto Rum, you can go Clown College.
Clown College

All party members may be wounded when you break in, heal them and go house on left side to rest. There is only one Clown, Nozz Jockey, in this house. This is the garage for clowns' vehicles. Nozz Jockey warns you to leave and runs to oil tank in southwest corner. He will explose it when you try to get near, so just leave him alone. Treat garage as your base in College, there is NO encounter here. You can rest safely.

The member who has highest DX should equipped with a full-clip automatic weapon. When you encounter BigTop Guards, fire entire clip to kill them.
A clip with 20 bullets is capable to kill one enemy.
A clip with 30 bullets is capable to kill two enemies in one move.
A clip with 40 bullets is capable to kill three enemies in one move.
But forget about clip with lower than 20 bullets, they do almost same damage whether single shot or not.

Three BigTop Guards separated in three groups(only 1 in each group) drop lots clips and Flak Vest. BigTop Guard appeared alone is dangerous, he shots grenade out by Clown Mega Uzi every round. This action does huge damages to whole party and evasion will be fultile. Killer Clowns are relative weak, you can use them to train your skill level. Before you explore other buildings, make sure all members have DX higher than 23. The rest attribute points can be assigned to IQ, DX, AP.

Kiwi house 2F. Shoot all mirrors in mirror room then you can pass freely. The Fortune Teller machine will fire at you, don't press the START button. There is some clown makeup that you can put it on, you can then cheat some of Clowns. Plastic Explosives x3, Healing Water x4 in wooden toy chest. Rad Suit(AC5) x1, Kevlar Derby x1 in dial safe. BOZO is the keyword.

After you put clown makeup on and try to cheat clown groups in Willie house(southwest building). They still recognize you are fake clowns and says: "Nice try, Bozo". I think this keyword came from there.


Center house, Circus

there are clowns in stalls, they attack when you get near
if you get caught by cage in the ring, you will be sent to Kermit house with only .45 pistols


Willie house

there are four large bedrooms and a hallway if you get in from north, it's almost a barrack and there are MANY clowns here, use explosive to against them

NW and NE bedrooms: clowns will use explosive, BEWARE!
SW and SE bedrooms: relative weak clowns

there are more clowns here, more than 20 sometimes, use EXPLOSIVE!

Willie is in a small room at SW corner, fire entire clip can kill him easily, he drops Rad Suit, Flamethrower and Healing Water

There are two entries of Kermit house 1F. The Elite Guards here are fast and have high CON. But they only attack with meele weapons, it's easy to defeat them with certain LV of Auto Weapon skill. They drop excellent Flak Suit(AC4) and Kevlar Suit(AC5).


Front door

He has tons of CON, but again, just fire entire clip to waste him. He drops Rad Suit and Plastic Explosives.



Back door



If you surrender to Elite Guards, you will be sent to Kermit house 3F.

There are also two ways to get into Kermit house 3F. Get caught or climb into. If you get caught, you will lose all your weapons and only .45 pistols on hands. You may use Rubber Boots to pass the electric grid at corner or just step on and take some damages. Remember to disarm land mines near the ringing telephone before answer it. Flip the alarm clock and avoid mutant snake in the book by NOT opening it. Pick the eight-ball then drop all Gas Ballons you received from the old clown. Go through the breach then you can see Kermit.

The better way to Kermit is hire a NPC with CLIMB skill, climb into his mansion through a trapdoor. You can keep all your weapons and bypass the annoying electric grids. It seems you need LV3 CLIMB skill to overcome the high wall.
Go SW along the wall to avoid two mutant lions summoned by Kermit. At bottom of southwest corner, go east and approach the ring, waste fake Kermit when it shows. Fake Kermit drops Rad Suit, Grenade, Clown Mega Uzi. Unlock the chest at southwest corner, waste real Kermit when he shows. Real Kermit drops Rad Suit, Grenade x4, Clown Mega Uzi, Red Key and Black Key.
Go NE along the east wall to avoid mutant lions then go outside. Use stairs to go 2F, you can unlock 4 chests with Red Key and Black Key. There are many weapons here, pick them up if you need them.

NW chest: 9mm Browning Pistol x6, Remington 700 Rifle x4, Clown MegaUzi x2, AK-47 Assault Rifle x2
SW chest: Grenade x3, Plastic Explosive x4, TNT x6, Napalm Cannister x1
NE chest: 7.62mm Clip(5) x10, 7.62mm Clip(30) x5, 9mm Clip(30) x6, 9mm Clip(40) x3, .45 Clip(30) x4
SE chest: Rad Suit x2, Kevlar Vest x2, Kevlar Suit x1, Leather Cap x4, Kevlar Derby x3

After the eight-ball made a breach, you can go through it into the center room of Kermit house 1F. You will find Granny Astor who has been held there for weeks. You need a empty slot in your party to let her join. If your party is full, just go Miami to store member and come back again.

Ohoh Temple

Bring Wilfred to BigDaddy and complete the Ohoh tests makes you become a member of their family. You will get Ohoh Amulet then both Beachcombers and Ohoh Cultists won't attack you again. Since you get money and guns by defeating them, you NEED them attack you until you are fully prepared. It's up to you to choose when to complete the Ohoh tests.

There are four stages in Ohoh tests, you need to pour water or Desoto Rum to SW corner in each room. For last stage, you need to go 'SP' point only from D', then pour SW corner to finish all tests. A simple map of last stage is shown below.

Kiwi Eli

After all three symbols obtained, bring Granny Astor back to Gramps Astor who lives in residential area of Miami. Gramps Astos asks you to drop Granny Astor off somewhere she is safe, then make rooms in party for Doc Brewhoe and him. He says it's time to put an end to this nonsense.
Gramps Astor joins if your party has empty slot, bring him to Doc Brewhoe then Doc Brewhoe joins too. Bring them to the village where you rescue Wilfred. Evolved animals and humans finally make their peace, the mutants say what we seek lies north of their encampment, some two paces. It's the place where we can find Fountain of Dreams and the notorious clown Kiwi.

Before final fight with Kiwi, you should go back to Miami and pick trained members up. Make sure all members have DX higher than 23. Go to Kiwi's place from upside, you don't need to get into jungle again. One member should fire entire clip to Kiwi and that will kill her instantly. The rest members may toss grenades and explosives to waste rest clowns. You finish this game after Kiwi is gone.
